About Malta Chess Federation (MCF)
The Malta Chess Federation (MCF), established in 1923, serves as the official governing body for chess in Malta. Affiliated with the World Chess Federation (FIDE) and the European Chess Union (ECU), MCF oversees national championships, promotes chess education, and represents Malta in international competitions. The federation is headquartered at Ħandaq Middle School, Saint Ignatius College, Tal-Ħandaq, Ħal Qormi, QRM 4001, Malta.
