​Uppsala Skolschacksällskap (USSS) is one of Sweden’s largest and most dynamic chess clubs, dedicated exclusively to children and youth. Founded in 2005, the club has grown to over 500 members and plays a central role in promoting chess education and competition across Uppsala and its surrounding areas.

USSS operates with the motto “Klubben där alla barn får lyckas” (“The club where every child can succeed”). Its mission is to make chess accessible, educational, and enjoyable for all children, regardless of background or experience.
