The club offers structured chess instruction for young players and adults at different playing levels. Its program includes beginner courses, advanced training, tactical exercises, game analysis, and preparation for official competitions. In addition, Échiquier Club Créonnais supports talented players through higher-level coaching and online training sessions with experienced instructors. The club enters adult and junior teams in French interclub competitions. Its leading adult team competes in Nationale 3, while junior teams participate in the regional league structure. Members also take part in the Coupe Jean-Claude Loubatière, individual championships, youth qualification events, rapid tournaments, and blitz competitions. The club manages registration, participant communication, schedules, venue preparation, technical organization, prizes, live-game coverage, and cooperation with qualified arbiters. In addition, volunteers help visiting players with practical information and local transport when possible. Beyond the international tournament, the club organizes free youth competitions, simultaneous exhibitions, school chess activities, and public events around Créon. Through these programs, it combines competitive chess with education, inclusion, community engagement, and international participation.
