The Club d’Échecs du Bassin Annemassien (CABE), established in 2005 and revitalized by a dynamic team since 2016, stands as a prominent chess institution in the Haute-Savoie region of France. The club conducts weekly sessions in 23 schools across the Annemasse area, introducing students to the strategic and cognitive benefits of the game. On the competitive front, CABE fields teams in various national leagues, including Nationale 2 for both general and youth categories. CABE operates from two primary locations: the main club at 6 Rue du Sentier in Annemasse and an additional venue at 8 Rue du Jura in Ambilly. These facilities are equipped to accommodate players of all levels, offering over 20 training sessions per week led by a team of 10 dedicated coaches and instructors. The club’s inclusive approach ensures that everyone, regardless of age or skill level, finds a welcoming environment to learn and compete.
