Šahovski klub Bošnjaci (Chess Club Bošnjaci) is a competitive chess club and international tournament organizer based in Bošnjaci, Vukovar-Srijem County, Croatia. Established in 1997, the club represents its municipality in the Croatian chess league system and has built a particularly strong reputation through the annual Open Bošnjaci, a FIDE-rated international tournament traditionally held at the beginning of January. Its activities combine club competition, major open-tournament organization, and participation in national team events.
The club competes within the structure of the Croatian Chess Federation (Hrvatski šahovski savez) and the eastern Croatian regional chess system. The 30th Open Bošnjaci took place from January 3–9, 2026 in the Cinema Hall of the Cultural Center in Bošnjaci. The tournament attracted 141 players from 11 federations, including six Grandmasters, four International Masters, and numerous other titled competitors.
Players contested nine Swiss-system rounds at 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment from move one. The tournament was rated by both FIDE and the Croatian Chess Federation and offered approximately €7,100 in prizes.
IM Sanjin Culum of Bosnia and Herzegovina won the 2026 edition with 7/9, taking first place on tiebreak. GM Ante Šarić and GM Blažimir Kovačević also finished on seven points.
Đuka Golubičić served as Tournament Director, while IA Branko Vidačković was Chief Arbiter.
