⏱️ Tournament Format & Time Control

The XXXIII Heart of Finland Open follows a 9-round Swiss system. Players receive:

• 90 minutes for 40 moves, then
• 30 minutes for the rest, with a
• 30-second increment per move from the start.

Half-point byes are available for rounds 1–3 if requested before pairings are published.
