The Dr. Kántor Sándor Emlékverseny 2026 takes place from October 26–29, 2026 in Debrecen, Hungary. Debrecen University and the DEAC-Debreceni Sakkiskola chess section organize the memorial tournament.
The competition offers A and B groups and is designed for international FIDE rating. Players compete over seven Swiss rounds with 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move.
