ABOUT MYCHESS.EVENTS
Connecting Chess Players and
Tournament Organizers
Worldwide
MyChess.Events is an independent global platform designed to make over-the-board chess tournaments easier to discover, compare, and promote.
Players can explore tournaments by country, date, location, format, and other practical criteria, while organizers can present their events through clear and professionally structured pages.
What We Do
Finding the right chess tournament often means searching across federation websites, organizer pages, registration platforms, tournament regulations, and pairing services. Important information may be scattered across several sources or presented in different languages and formats.
MyChess.Events brings essential tournament information together in one place. Each listing is structured to help players understand the dates, location, format, time control, registration conditions, schedule, prize fund, venue, and organizer details whenever reliable information is available.
The platform focuses primarily on over-the-board tournaments, including classical, rapid, blitz, round-robin, open, youth, senior, amateur, and international events. Tournament information may be collected from official organizer and federation sources or submitted directly through the platform.

FOR PLAYERS
Find the Right Tournament
MyChess.Events helps players move from tournament discovery to practical planning. Visitors can browse upcoming events, search by country, use the tournament map, review the calendar, and compare relevant tournament details.
Where available, tournament pages include organizer contacts, official links, regulations, registration information, venue details, schedules, formats, and prize information. Players should always confirm critical information and participation directly with the official organizer before making payments or travel arrangements.
FOR PLAYERS
Present Your Tournament Professionally
Tournament organizers can submit events to MyChess.Events for editorial review and standard publication. Approved events are presented through structured, mobile-friendly pages designed to help players quickly understand the tournament.
Organizer profiles bring together contact details, official resources, and associated tournaments. Organizers may contact MyChess.Events to provide additional information, report corrections, or discuss promotion and partnership opportunities.
Independent and Information-Focused
MyChess.Events is an independent platform and is not the official organizer of the tournaments listed on the website unless this is explicitly stated.
We aim to present information clearly and accurately. However, tournament organizers may change dates, venues, schedules, fees, prize funds, sections, or registration conditions. Players should verify important details through the official tournament website, regulations, registration page, or direct organizer contact before making financial or travel commitments.
Organizers and authorized representatives are welcome to report outdated or incorrect information through the Contact page.
FOUNDER
About the Founder
MyChess.Events was founded by Suren Ohanyan, a digital transformation and project management leader with more than 25 years of experience turning strategy into practical, measurable results. His background spans project and portfolio management, agile delivery, process improvement, digital transformation, and the practical use of artificial intelligence. He holds internationally recognized credentials including IPMO-Expert®, PMI-ACP®, and CSPO®.
The idea for MyChess.Events grew from a familiar challenge: players and families often spend too much time searching across multiple websites, checking incomplete information, and comparing tournaments presented in different formats and languages. The platform was created to make that process clearer, faster, and more reliable, while also helping organizers present their events professionally and reach players beyond their existing local audiences.
By combining his experience in structured digital solutions with his long-standing involvement in the international chess community, Suren continues to develop MyChess.Events as an independent global platform for discovering, comparing, and promoting over-the-board chess tournaments.
