Brainiac64 d.o.o. is a Slovenian chess education and event-management company based in Ljubljana. Its full registered name is Brainiac64, Šahovsko izobraževanje in organizacija dogodkov, d.o.o. The company was established in 2025 to support the professional organization of chess tournaments, festivals, educational activities, and related participant services. Grandmaster Luka Lenič serves as director. Brainiac64 works closely with Tajfun – Ljubljana Chess Club and other chess professionals to combine sporting expertise with the administrative, financial, and operational structure required for major events. Its registered office is located at the Ljubljana Chess Club’s current premises on Litostrojska cesta.

🏆 Chess Festivals and Event Management

Brainiac64 helps organize international chess festivals, open tournaments, youth competitions, memorial events, seminars, and additional chess activities. Its responsibilities may include registration administration, entry-fee processing, tournament packages, participant communication, scheduling, venue coordination, financial management, and cooperation with arbiters and technical officials. The company has supported events organized alongside Tajfun – Ljubljana Chess Club, including the Ljubljana Chess Festival and other competitions staged in the Slovenian capital. Moreover, official tournament materials identify Brainiac64 as the payment and administrative entity for several events. This structure allows the chess club and its titled players to focus on sporting content while Brainiac64 supports the professional delivery of the wider event program.

🌍 Bled Chess Festival

Brainiac64 is the principal legal organizer of the Bled Chess Festival 2027, working in cooperation with Tajfun – Ljubljana Chess Club. The festival takes place at the Rikli Balance Hotel Congress Centre and combines a nine-round FIDE-rated amateur tournament with seminars, simultaneous exhibitions, rapid and blitz competitions, chess evenings, cultural activities, and accommodation packages. The organizing team manages registration, participant packages, event payments, tournament operations, communication, hotel arrangements, and the accompanying program. WGM Darja Kapš serves as Festival Director, while several leading Slovenian players and trainers contribute to the event. Through the Bled Chess Festival, Brainiac64 aims to renew Bled’s historic international chess tradition while developing a modern tournament experience that combines serious competition, education, tourism, and participant hospitality.
