MyInvestor and Stadium Casablanca Chess Club represent a partnership between the Spanish digital bank MyInvestor and the chess section of Stadium Casablanca in Zaragoza. The collaboration began in 2021, when MyInvestor became the official sponsor of the club’s chess section. It also supported the creation of the Jaque de Dama women’s chess academy alongside Stadium Casablanca and Spanish champion Sabrina Vega. Since then, the team has competed under the MyInvestor Casablanca name in regional and national competitions. Meanwhile, Stadium Casablanca provides the club structure, playing facilities, training activities, and local organizational experience behind the project.

🏆 Competitive Chess and International Events

The chess section supports players of different ages and levels through instruction, club teams, rated competition, and tournament participation. Moreover, MyInvestor Casablanca has competed in Spain’s leading national team competitions, including the Spanish Club Championship División de Honor. Its squads have included Grandmasters, International Masters, leading female players, and talented juniors. The organization is also responsible for the MyInvestor Casablanca Chess Festival in Zaragoza. The program includes a nine-round international open and separate round-robin tournaments designed for Grandmaster and International Master norms. Stadium Casablanca manages the venue and operational framework, while experienced titled players and international arbiters lead the tournament team.

Beyond elite competition, the partnership promotes chess education, inclusion, and long-term player development. Stadium Casablanca offers chess classes for different ages and playing strengths. In addition, its teams participate in the organized chess structure of Aragón and Spain. The Jaque de Dama initiative created a dedicated pathway for women and girls, while the wider chess section supports junior development and regular club competition. MyInvestor adds commercial support and wider visibility to these sporting activities. Therefore, the collaboration connects community chess, professional tournament organization, women’s participation, junior development, and high-level team competition. The 2026 international festival marks a further step in this development by bringing an open tournament and title-norm competitions to Stadium Casablanca’s Zaragoza facilities.
