⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

The tournament uses a classical time control of 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game. In addition, each player receives a 30-second increment from move 1.

Pairings follow the Swiss system across 7 rounds. The tournament counts for Elo and DWZ rating evaluation, so players receive a structured long-game competition with national and international rating relevance.

The default time is 30 minutes after the scheduled start of each round. For tied scores, Buchholz with one cut applies first. Sonneborn-Berger with one cut follows, and direct encounter then applies if needed.

Open Tournament
