⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

The event uses an accelerated Swiss format over 6 rounds. Every player gets 90 minutes for the game, plus a 30-second increment from move one. Because of that structure, the tournament fits players who want a compact classical event without an overloaded schedule.

Players may skip one round and still receive a half point, although that option is only available through round 4. In addition, the default forfeit time is 30 minutes. Tie-breaks follow the published order DE, APPO, BH-M1, and PTP.

The playing conditions are also strict and practical. Players may not carry mobile phones into the tournament hall. Likewise, the venue does not allow brought-in food for consumption on site.

🏆 Prize Fund

The published prize schedule reaches EUR 2,145 in total. Group A offers the larger top prizes, while Group B adds its own overall and rating prizes. As a result, the event gives both stronger players and club players a meaningful prize structure.

Section Prize details
Group A 1st EUR 500; 2nd EUR 400; 3rd EUR 300; 4th EUR 200; 5th EUR 100; Top U2000 EUR 60
Group B 1st EUR 200; 2nd EUR 175; 3rd EUR 150; Top U1700 EUR 60

These prizes are guaranteed from 75 participants. Moreover, the organizer does not split prizes, pays them only to present players, and limits each player to one prize.

👥 Sections / Groups

The tournament has two sections. Group A is the main section. Standard entry there starts from 1900 Elo, although players under 1900 may still enter by paying a surcharge. Group B is capped at 1899 Elo.

Section Eligibility / rating basis Notes
Group A Standard fee from 1900 Elo Players under 1900 may enter with a surcharge
Group B Up to 1899 Elo Separate prize list

If one section draws fewer than 30 players, the organizer may merge the groups. Therefore, players should treat the two-group structure as the planned format, while keeping that reserve clause in mind.

The event follows an evening-round format through most of the week. Meanwhile, Saturday includes a rapid side event before round 5.
