⏱ TIME CONTROL

The three-day schedule uses a classic 90-minute base with a 30-second increment from move one for all seven rounds. Players who choose the two-day option contest the first three rounds at G/30 with a 5-second delay, then join the main field at Round 4 under G/90+30″ conditions. This hybrid format rewards both rapid decisiveness and deep strategic calculation.

📝 REGISTRATION

  • Early Bird: $139 if you register by April 30, 2025
  • Regular Fee: $159 through June 15, 2025
  • Late Entry: $179 after June 15 (space permitting)
  • Play-Up Option: Pay $35 to compete in the next higher section if your published rating sits within 150 points of its floor.
  • Byes & Withdrawals: Request half- or zero-point byes by end of Round 2. Withdrawals one week prior receive refunds minus a $15 processing fee; no refunds thereafter.
