The Summer Cup 2025 has been established as a premier international chess festival, set to take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from May 26 to May 30, 2025. Organized under FIDE regulations, the event will feature three distinct tournaments—Open A, Open B, and a Blitz tournament—catering to players of various levels. A prize fund exceeding 5,000,000 KZT (around $10,000 USD) has been guaranteed, promising a week full of excitement and competition.

📅 Dates of the Event

The Summer Cup 2025 will be held from May 26 to May 30, 2025.

⏳ Time Control of the Event

• Tournament A: 90 minutes for the entire game + 30-second increment per move.
• Tournament B: 60 minutes for the entire game + 30-second increment per move.
• Blitz Tournament (Tournament C): 3 minutes for the entire game + 2-second increment per move.

Tournament A:

• 1st Place: 1,000,000 KZT
• 2nd Place: 750,000 KZT
• 3rd Place: 550,000 KZT
• Additional prizes for seniors, juniors, and female players.

Tournament B: Total fund of 725,000 KZT.
Blitz Tournament C: Total fund of 500,000 KZT.
