Open Braunau 2025
The Open Braunau 2025 will take place from Friday, 12 December to Sunday, 14 December 2025 in the picturesque town of Ranshofen near Braunau am Inn, Austria. Organized by WSV ATSV Ranshofen Schach, this classic Austrian open features three rating sections (A, B, C) and is valid for both Austrian national ELO and FIDE rating. The event will be held at the historic Schloss Ranshofen (Castle Ranshofen), a charming venue that has hosted many successful editions of the Braunau chess festival.
Players from Austria and neighboring countries are invited to compete in a well-organized 5-round weekend event combining strong competition, excellent hospitality, and a scenic atmosphere.
