Pairings follow the Swiss system with the Baku acceleration method and use Swiss-Manager software.
The event counts for FIDE standard rating and Chilean ENF rating, and it follows the current FIDE Laws of Chess and national regulations.
The default (forfeit) time equals 30 minutes after the official start of each round; if you arrive later than that, the arbiter records a loss.
If you miss one round without prior justification before pairings, the organizers may remove you from the tournament.
You must write down all moves for the entire game.
Online broadcast covers the first 30 boards each round with DGT boards so fans can follow the games live.
The organizers apply the following tiebreak order for standings and for prize awards:

🧾 Other
The tournament can award title norms according to FIDE Handbook B-01, provided the event meets all required conditions.
The organizers form an Appeals, Ethics, and Discipline Committee consisting of the Chief Arbiter, the tournament directors, and two player representatives; you must submit any written appeal within 20 minutes of your game’s end and pay a CLP $50,000 deposit, which they refund if your claim succeeds.
Any member of the Appeals Committee who has a conflict of interest in a case must recuse themselves from that decision.
The anti-cheating protocol appoints an Anti-Cheating Arbiter, uses handheld metal detectors, includes checks in the restroom area, and randomly selects about 20 boards per round for post-game scanning; refusal to cooperate leads to loss of the game.
Players, companions, and spectators may enter the playing area only up to five minutes before the start of each round; after games end, players must leave the playing zone and use a separate analysis room for post-mortems.
Bags, backpacks, and similar items are not allowed in the playing area, and players may not carry electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, or headphones; any unauthorized device can result in forfeiture.
By entering, you authorize the organizers to publish your name, club, federation, ratings, pairings, results, and selected games in online and offline media and accept any minor changes to the regulations that the organizers may make due to force majeure before the tournament begins.
