⏱️ TIME CONTROL

All games are played using G/90;+30 time control—each player gets 90 minutes for the entire game, with a 30-second increment per move starting from move one. This classical setting ensures enough time for in-depth calculations, precise strategy, and endgame execution. The default time for forfeiture due to absence is 60 minutes. Re-entry is allowed (with a half-price late fee), and players can take up to one half-point bye in rounds 1–4 if requested in advance.

  • GMs/IMs: First 3 to register and complete all rounds will receive minimum guaranteed appearance prizes (GM: $200, IM: $100).
