⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
The 6th Louisburg Open uses a 4-round Swiss-system format with no eliminations.
Each game uses a time control of G/45 with a 15-second increment from move 1, so every player receives 45 minutes plus 15 seconds per move for the entire game.
All games are rated by US Chess, and all participants must maintain current US Chess membership; the organizer sells memberships at the tournament site.
Players may request one half-point bye, which they can enter at any time up to the start of round two.
