67th International Chess Festival of Imperia
The organizers scheduled the 67th International Chess Festival of Imperia to take place from September 1 to 8, 2025. It will be held in the picturesque coastal town of Imperia, Italy.

The festival features three main tournaments:
- Open A: For players rated above 1900 Elo.
- Open B: For players rated under 2000 Elo.
- Open C: For players rated under 1600 Elo.
Each tournament follows a Swiss-system format. Open A consists of 9 rounds, and Opens B and C comprise 8 rounds. The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the remainder of the game. There is a 30-second increment from move one in this chess competition.
Although the organizers have not officially announced the prize fund for the 2025 edition, previous editions offered competitive prizes across all categories. These prizes reward top performers and encourage participation at all levels.
