The 55th Festival “Città di Torino”, held from 2-6 January 2026 in Torino, Italy, is one of the country’s longest-running classical chess festivals. Organized by the Società Scacchistica Torinese (SST), the event features two strong FIDE-rated open tournaments – Open A for higher-rated players and Open B for ambitious club players. With a combined prize fund of €3,600, clear eligibility guidelines, and excellent central playing conditions at the historic SST headquarters, the festival continues a decades-long chess tradition in the Piedmont region.

This edition offers six classical rounds in each group, different time controls for A and B, rating prizes across multiple subclasses, and dedicated awards for youth and senior competitors. A maximum of 160 players will be admitted overall, ensuring optimal playing conditions.
