The 4th International Chess Festival City of Tivoli, April 30-May 3, 2026, in Guidonia, Italy delivers four days of FIDE-rated classical chess in a comfortable hotel setting close to Tivoli and Rome. The organizers run three parallel Swiss tournaments by rating band, so you can compete against players in your performance range while still playing in a fully structured international open format. A gross €2,790 cash prize fund adds strong motivation across all sections, with additional trophies where specified.

Play seven rounds at a modern classical time control with increment and follow a clear weekend-plus-holiday schedule with morning and afternoon rounds. The event suits ambitious club players, improving juniors, and experienced competitors who want consistent playing conditions and reliable tournament logistics. Park Hotel Imperatore Adriano hosts the full program on site, making it easy to combine serious chess with practical accommodation and on-location dining.
