⏱️ Time Control & Pairings

The tournament uses a 7-round Swiss system. Each player receives 90 minutes for the entire game plus a 30-second increment from move one. Therefore, the event follows a full classical chess tournament structure across the full holiday weekend.

In addition, pairings are produced with Sharly Chess and are officially posted 15 minutes before the start of each round. Only players whose license has been checked are paired for round 1. The forfeit time is 30 minutes from the start of the round. Players may request one half-point bye in the first five rounds, but they must inform the arbiter before the end of the previous round. The published tie-break order is Buchholz Cut 1, cumulative score, and performance. Draw offers are not allowed before move 40 unless the arbiter agrees.
