24th IPCA World Chess Championship 2025
Chess professionals around the world recognize the 24th IPCA World Chess Championship 2025 as one of the most important international tournaments for physically disabled players. The International Physically Disabled Chess Association (IPCA), in collaboration with FIDE, has organized the event to promote inclusive competition and highlight the talents of players from across the globe. Top contenders from member federations plan to compete in this professionally managed and fully accessible FIDE-rated tournament.

The organizers have scheduled the championship to take place from July 21 to July 31, 2025, in Goa, India.

- 🗓️ July 22–30, 2025: Rounds 1 to 8 (one round daily)
- 🗓️ July 31, 2025: Round 9 & Closing Ceremony

🏆 Prize Fund & Prizes
A total prize fund of €6,000 has been allocated for the championship. Moreover, it will be distributed among the top performers in the overall standings, as well as special categories.
🏅 Additionally, the organizers will present special awards to the best female player, best junior, best veteran, and best national representative.
📝 Registration & Participation
Participants must submit their registrations by May 15, 2025, through the official registration form. A valid FIDE ID and a medical classification confirming eligibility as an IPCA player must be provided by each participant.

- 🏨 Accommodation Package: €65 per day per person (includes full board in double occupancy)
