23rd Amstetten Stadtmeisterschaft 2026
The 23rd Amstetten Stadtmeisterschaft 2026, combined with the International New Year Tournament 2026 and the 3rd Mostviertel Championship, will take place from 2-5 January 2026 in Amstetten, Austria. ⏱️ Time Control & Pairings
• 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 minutes for the remainder of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one.
• 5 rounds, Swiss system.
• Pairings created using Swiss-Manager.
• One late arrival of 30 minutes results in a loss.
• No prize splitting; category prizes awarded only to players not receiving higher prizes.
• Local championship titles require permanent residence or club membership for at least one year.
• Players agree to the publication of names, results, and photos for event reporting.
