The 2026 O2C Doeberl Cup brings Australia’s flagship Grand Prix chess tradition to April 2-6, 2026 in Canberra, Australia, with multiple rated sections that suit everyone from elite contenders to developing juniors. The event runs in Woden Valley and combines a premier long-play championship with graded divisions, strong fields, and a substantial cash prize fund.

The tournament delivers a full festival feel with parallel events, an on-site club venue, and a dedicated Saturday lightning program. You compete in the division that matches your rating band, you chase FIDE and ACF rating gains, and you finish the weekend with presentations and prize awards across the major sections.
