SPORTCLUB Agentura 64 Olomouc is a chess organizer linked with Olomouc and based in Grygov, Czech Republic. Jaroslav Fuksík founded the wider Agentura 64 project in 1990. One year later, the group took over the Sokol Grygov chess section. Since then, it has built a long and visible role in Moravian chess. Its public activity runs through the a64.cz platform, which covers teams, tournaments, youth work, training, and club news. The organizer connects local chess life in Olomouc with a broader regional calendar. That continuity gives it unusual depth. It also explains why the Agentura 64 name remains familiar to Czech players, coaches, arbiters, and tournament regulars.
Tournament organization stands at the center of the club’s public profile. Agentura 64 has run a long list of major events in Olomouc and beyond. These include the Czech Championship in 1995, a European Club Cup qualifying group in 1996, the first grandmaster event in Olomouc in 1997, Olomouc Chess Summer from 1998, Open Litomyšl, and the annual Turnaj přátelství from 1999. Team chess has also shaped the club’s identity. A64 spent 20 straight seasons in the Czech Extraliga. It won the national title in 1997/98 and later added silver in 2010/11. Recent festival regulations and tournament listings still place the organizer at the center of top-level events in Olomouc.
Youth development remains one of the strongest parts of the organizer’s identity. The club has run school chess groups in Olomouc since 1995. It also offers weekly training for stronger juniors, individual work with selected talents, and annual chess camps since 1996. Its youth record is unusually strong. Representatives of the club have reached the Czech Youth Championship every year since 1992, a run that now spans 33 straight years. During that time, the club has won 17 medals there. Youth teams have also delivered national results, including gold in 2000, silver in 2001, and bronze in 2003. The club says about 2,500 children have passed through its training groups. Today, Jakub Fuksík remains a long-standing public figure in this work and the main published contact for the organizer.
