Schachfreunde Greiz e.V. is a Greiz-based chess club and local tournament organizer in Thuringia, Germany. The club plays an active role in regional competitive chess and supports regular over-the-board activity for players in and around Greiz. Moreover, it has strengthened its public presence through club competition and independently organized events.
