Schachclub Kirchseeon e.V.

Schachclub Kirchseeon e.V. is a local chess organizer in Kirchseeon, Bavaria, with a stable role in club chess, youth training, and open tournament activity. The club’s current structure grew out of the re-formed association in 1982, while its own historical references trace organized chess in Kirchseeon back to the 1950s. Today, it remains an active part of the Munich district chess scene and continues to welcome players of different ages and levels.

The club runs a clear weekly program. Adult play and training take place on Tuesdays from 19:30, while youth training starts at 18:00. Its official schedule also shows regular coaching sessions with Thomas Beckers. In addition, the club organizes the Kirchseeon-Open every year and also stages an open amateur tournament, which gives it a visible tournament role beyond ordinary club evenings.

The organizer also has a strong youth profile. Its youth page highlights structured training, internal youth events, and competitive junior results. The district federation listing currently records 61 members, including 30 youth players, which shows that junior activity is a major part of the club’s identity. Public contact information names Christian Langer as 1st chairman and the main contact person, which makes him the strongest primary contact for organizer-profile purposes.
