The Paul Keres Chess House serves as the headquarters of the Estonian Chess Federation and offers a variety of chess-related activities:

  • Chess Education: Provides lessons and training sessions for players of all levels.

  • Tournaments: Hosts local and international chess tournaments, including the Estonian Championships.

  • Casual Play: Welcomes enthusiasts for casual games and practice sessions.

The venue also accommodates other mind sports, such as draughts, and has hosted events like the 2017 World Draughts Championship.

In 2004, the Paul Keres Museum Room was established within the Chess House.

  • A wax figure of Paul Keres.
  • A collection of photographs and medals from his illustrious career.
  • A guest book featuring entries from individuals who knew Keres or have visited the site.

🕒 Visiting Hours

The Chess House operates on a seasonal schedule:

  • September 1 – May 31: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
  • June 1 – August 31: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Closed on weekends and public holidays.
