Mimosa International Horizont is a Milan-based sports and cultural organisation that runs the community hub “Centro Aggregativo Multifunzionale e Culturale Julie Oswald.” Its chess section, Sezione Scacchi Mimosa International Horizont, focuses on organizing structured over-the-board tournaments and building a friendly, inclusive chess community in the city. The aim is to offer serious competition while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming for all ages.

The chess section stages a full calendar of weekend festivals, rapid circuits and classical events, including the Open d’Inverno “tardivo”.
