Hajdúszoboszlói Sakkiskola Egyesület (Hajdúszoboszló Chess School, HSI) is a youth-focused chess club and training center. It is based in the spa town of Hajdúszoboszló in eastern Hungary. For more than twenty years, the academy has given local children and adults a structured way to learn chess. Its main aim is to develop young talents, support regular competition and use chess as a tool for education.

HSI runs weekly training sessions, school groups and internal tournaments for many different age categories. Moreover, it organizes local and regional events in Hajdúszoboszló, including youth festivals and open tournaments. Through these activities, the club helps beginners take their first steps in tournament play. At the same time, it supports ambitious players who aim for strong regional and FIDE-rated events.

Today, Hajdúszoboszlói Sakkiskola Egyesület is an important part of the local sports scene. It works closely with the city, schools and families to make chess visible in everyday life. Furthermore, its trainers and organizers place strong emphasis on fair play, friendly behaviour and long-term player development. Therefore, players who join HSI receive both serious chess training and a welcoming community atmosphere.
