The Delhi Chess Association (DCA) serves as the official governing body for chess activities in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Affiliated with the All India Chess Federation (AICF) and recognized by FIDE, the association is committed to promoting chess at grassroots, amateur, and professional levels. It regularly organizes district, state, and international tournaments, including the prestigious Delhi International Open Chess Tournament, one of Asia’s largest open chess events. DCA has been instrumental in developing young talent, supporting titled players, and enhancing the chess culture across schools, colleges, and clubs throughout Delhi.
