​The Club d’Escacs Lillet, established on November 12, 1950, stands as a cornerstone of the chess community in La Pobla de Lillet, nestled in the Catalan Pyrenees. Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025, the club continues to foster a vibrant chess culture through organizing tournaments, participating in leagues, and engaging with enthusiasts of all levels.

In 2025, the club is set to host several notable events:​

• IV Torneig Internacional d’Escacs Actius “CAL BATISTA” on May 18
• International Open Tournament from August 5 to 13
• Rapid Tournament for the 75th Anniversary on August 14 and 15​
