The Chess Academy of Armenia, established in 2002 by Grandmaster Smbat Lputian with support from then-Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, is a premier institution dedicated to chess education and promotion in Armenia. Headquartered in Yerevan, the Academy operates approximately 50 branches across the country, offering comprehensive chess training to students aged 4 to 18, with exceptional talents supported up to age 20.
