Beskydská šachová škola (BŠŠ), established in 1925 and based in Frýdek-Místek, Czech Republic, is one of the country’s most esteemed chess institutions. Renowned for its commitment to youth development, BŠŠ offers a comprehensive range of programs, including group and individual training sessions, catering to various age groups and skill levels. The school also organizes numerous chess clubs and is active in hosting competitions and tournaments, such as the international festivals “Turnaje šachových nadějí” and “Talent CUP”.

In addition to its educational initiatives, BŠŠ has a strong competitive presence. Since the 2006/07 season, the club has consistently participated in the Czech Chess Extraliga, achieving notable successes, including three third-place finishes in the 2007/08, 2013/14, and 2015/16 seasons
